Community Overview
SimpleC uses behavioral technology as a non-drug alternative to support function and quality of life. Our solution is adaptable and can support a range of seniors’ needs, from individuals living independently and experiencing normative age-related changes to more involved support for residents in memory care.
SimpleC's Solution consists of:
- Behavioral technology, such as Companion, Care Station, Community Area Devices
- Personal storyboards to share life history and personal interests
- Personalized interventions to provide memory and behavioral support as needed
- SocialC to connect seniors to the social media network
- Activity Reporter to capture and track care services provided
- Data Manager to analyze and understand care service data on a community level
Benefits
- Shows your culture of caring
- Provides a higher level of care
- Empowers your care team
- Facilitates social interaction
- Simple to use
- Based in science
Our process
We gather community and individual schedules, individuals’ life histories, and any specific needs for behavioral support. We then combine this information with various media (photos, music, or voice recordings) and test it for positive effect.
The result is:
-
- Personal storyboards for each individual, that is, illustrations and soundtracks that help "tell my story”
- Your therapy remote-control: a collection of personalized care interventions for your care staff to help complete care services
Key components
Key components of SimpleC interventions are derived from long-standing concepts in scientific literature such as reminiscence, music, reality orientation, and Trusted Voice.SM Interventions are delivered wirelessly to the SimpleC Companion, one for each resident, or the Community Area Devices. Your care team controls all interventions, on-demand or scheduled in-advance. Family and individuals access storyboards to reminisce and facilitate communication and improve family visits.
