Watch: How to Designate the Primary Family Member

Assigning a family member as “primary” will allow Clinical Connect users to call the family member with TeleVisit. All family members can receive messages, but only the primary family member can receive video calls from Clinical Connect.

Family Connect allows family members to use TeleVisit to communicate with the patient & the patient’s caregivers. The family will also be able to contribute to the patient’s Companion. Family can upload photos & videos, create new shows & therapies, and assign music & voice messages to reminders!

Step by Step:

How to Designate the Primary Family Member

On the Clinical Connect home page,

Step 1: Select the patient profile.

On the patient’s profile,

Step 2: Select the menu button in the top right corner.

In the drop down menu,

Step 3: Select “Contributors.”

On the “Contributors” page, find the family member that you wish to make primary.

Step 4: Tap the three dots next to the family member’s name & swipe your finger to the left.

Step 5: Select the blue “Make Primary” button

A confirmation popup box will appear,

Step 6: Select “Yes” to confirm the family member you chose is the primary family member.
